Thoughts for Footstools is a Christian organisation based in the UK that aims to cultivate and defend the biblical world-view. Not laying claim to have all the answers, rather the objective is to be a depository of truth; a place where tough questions and biblical answers can be collated and shared amongst the Body of Christ.

Is the Bible only a matter of faith or is it also a matter of truth?

1 Timothy 2:3-4 says “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

God doesn’t just desire faith that leads to salvation, but truth. We have given “truth” to man, the world and the devil and left only “faith” to the church. According to scripture, this should not be so...(more)

Stephen Davis is the director of Thoughts for Footstools and an Assistant Minister for Eagle Christian Fellowship. He has been married to Jennifer for almost 5 years and they have two children; Isaiah & Abigael. Stephen & Jennifer are Home-Educators believing that is their God-given mandate to teach and disciple their children, not only to be people of faith but people of truth.
